Duties
The experiential Learning (EXPL) Coordinator for Science and Technology oversees Mission Public Diplomacy (PD) outreach to Emerging Voices (EV) audiences through EXPL projects and events, typically ” learn by doing” activities such as tech or entrepreneurship camps, Makerspace programs, STEM activities, coding workshops, competitions, 3D modeling and printing workshops, exhibitions, robotics workshops, 2D/3D animation workshops, virtual reality/game design workshops, Makers summer camps, and other technology and participatory community engagement programs, primarily at/for the American Center in Jerusalem. Designs, develops, identifies cosponsors and funding sources for, plans, and oversees a range of outreach activities in support of Mission goals. Works under the direct supervision of the EV Specialist (or Public Affairs Officer [PAO] designee) and has no supervisory responsibilities.
