Event: COVID-19 – International Travel, United States added to Israel’s COVID-19 Red List
The Israeli government announced it will add the United States to its COVID-19 red country list (highest risk) on Wednesday, December 22 at 12 a.m. The Israeli government bans Israeli citizens and residents from leaving Israel to any country on the red list. This ban applies to dual U.S-Israeli citizens but does not apply to foreign nationals (U.S. citizens who are not Israeli citizens). Non-Israeli citizens who still intend to travel to Israel must be granted an exception to do so. Details are at the Ministry of Health website.
