Bring your documents fully completed, without any missing pages, assembled and ready for notarization. We cannot assemble your documents for you or provide legal advice on their preparation. If your documents are not ready for signature at your appointment, we will ask you to schedule a new appointment.
- Ensure you fully understand your document before your appointment. A consular officer cannot explain it to you.
- Bring the entire document without any missing pages, even if only one page needs to be notarized. Documents with pages missing will not be accepted.
- Fully complete the document with names, places, and dates. DO NOT sign your document, though. You must sign under oath in front of the consular officer.
- Mark every page where the notary needs to sign and know exactly where you are meant to sign. The consul will not search for the signature lines on your behalf.
