Renewal of adult passport issued more than 15 years ago (DS-11): $165
Replacement of damaged, lost, or stolen minor passport (DS-11): $135
Replacement of damaged, lost, or stolen adult passport (DS-11): $165
Replacement of limited-validity passport issued less than 12 months ago (DS-5504): $0 (no fee).
Fees for Consular Report of Birth Abroad (DS-2029): $100
Note: All fees are non-refundable. The passport fee is a non-refundable processing fee and is retained by the Department of State whether or not the passport is issued.
Payment methods:
Cash:
- U.S. dollars
- Israeli shekels (NIS) (amount is according to the U.S. Embassy daily rate of exchange)
Credit cards: Only international credit cards that can accept charges in U.S. dollars
Bank checks (ONLY accepted at passport outreach events held outside the U.S. Embassy):
- Must be payable to “U.S. Embassy”
- Must be in the U.S. dollar amount of the service (not the shekel equivalent)
- Must be typed by the bank; bank checks with handwritten information (or handwritten revisions) will not be accepted
- Must have a series of three electronically printed numbers on the bottom
- Must show the dollar amount completely and properly within the amount box, with the amount printed neither above nor below the box
NOTE: Personal checks are not accepted.
