New Memorandum of Understanding Between the United States and Israel

The United States has concluded a new 10-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Israel on security assistance for Fiscal Years 2019 through 2028. This MOU constitutes the single largest pledge of bilateral military assistance in U.S. history. The new MOU will be signed in a ceremony at the Department of State in the Treaty Room on September 14, at 2:00 pm.
The event is open to the press.
Pre-set time for video cameras is 1:00 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance of the U.S. Department of State.
Final access time for still photographers and journalists is 1:30 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance of the U.S. Department of State.
Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver’s license or passport). Please allow adequate time to process through security.
